Sustanon is an injectable testosterone blend, originally developed by Organon, featuring a mix of four different esters. These include testosterone propionate and phenylpropionate for quick release, and testosterone decanoate and isocaproate for prolonged effects. This unique combination ensures both an immediate and sustained release of testosterone. Each milliliter contains 30 mg testosterone propionate, 60 mg testosterone phenylpropionate, 60 mg testosterone isocaproate, and 100 mg testosterone decanoate.
The blend’s design allows for less frequent injections, making it an ideal option for managing low testosterone levels. Sustanon gained significant popularity in the 1980s and 1990s.

BENEFITS AND EFFECTS OF SUSTANON
Sustanon offers similar benefits to other testosterone-based compounds, including muscle growth, anti-catabolic effects, increased appetite, higher red blood cell production, and improved libido. Within one month, users can typically gain 4–8 kg (8–16 lbs) of muscle mass.
DOSAGE AND DURATION
Typical cycles last around 10 weeks. Beginners typically use 250–500 mg every 10 days. Intermediate users often take 500 mg per week, while advanced users may go as high as 500–2000 mg per week. Women are advised to take 50–100 mg per week, though its use is not generally recommended for them. Sustanon has a half-life of approximately 18 days, with a detection window of up to 3 months.
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Sustanon is generally well-tolerated, but side effects are consistent with other testosterone-based steroids. These include increased aggression, sexual overstimulation, oily skin, accelerated hair loss, suppressed natural hormone production, nausea, elevated liver enzymes, jaundice, headaches, mood disorders, and increased LDL cholesterol.
POST-CYCLE THERAPY (PCT)
Due to Sustanon’s long ester profile, PCT should start approximately three weeks after the final dose. A typical PCT protocol includes HCG (if the cycle exceeds eight weeks), along with clomiphene citrate and/or tamoxifen citrate. If HCG is used, it is typically administered 10 days after starting clomiphene or tamoxifen, and continued for about 10 days.
STACKING OPTIONS
Sustanon can be combined with nandrolone for muscle gain, or stanozolol for cutting cycles. It also pairs well with nandrolone decanoate and methandienone for advanced cycles.
